We are currently recruiting for a Workshop Supervisor to join our clients ever-expanding team. Our client operates a high number of coaches at their Head Quarters and currently employ a number of engineers who are working on the fleet.

The successful Workshop Supervisor will be responsible for 16 PSV Engineers, who are both mechanical and electrical in their skill set and will be reporting to the Engineering Manager.

Ideally, the Workshop Supervisor will be an experienced PSV / HGV workshop supervisor or foreman and have at least 5 years previous experience in such a role. The Workshop Supervisor applicant must be time-served with good supervisory or management skills.

Ideal Workshop Supervisors must be hard working, have a hands-on approach, be able to lead by example and have strong organisational skills.

Within this site, Health and Safety is paramount so any previous knowledge or experience in this field are a bonus.

Workshop Supervisor candidates must understand VOSA legislation and ensure a methodical approach to following all of the company's procedures.

Good IT skills, predominantly the Microsoft Package, is a necessity and a PSV / HGV licence is a MAJOR advantage, but not an essential aspect.

Daily tasks and Responsibilities for the Workshop Supervisor include; scheduling the fleet and workforce to ensure all maintenance, servicing and repairs are performed to the correct quality and legislative standards. The successful Workshop Supervisor will also be required to ensure adequate vehicles are fit for service to complete daily services, be responsible for the fleet documentation and coordination with MOT dates, communicate any concerns and ensure a swift, and organised shift handover.
