We are currently recruiting for a number of experienced Workshop Engineers to become part of a team within a company who are a market leader in the heavy plant and general equipment dealer. The Workshop Engineers will support join a team who supply and work with the power generation, marine, industrial and oil & gas markets. Workshop Engineers must have 3 years experience in mining to heavy plant experience.

The role of Workshop Engineer is dynamic and customer orientated for positive thinking plant engineers; pride in the job and the importance of the delivery of customer service are two major factors for this organisation. Workshop Engineers report to the Service Manager and will be experienced in plant equipment repairs and servicing construction equipment products.

Daily tasks and responsibilities of the successful Workshop Engineers include but are not limited to:

* Working to perform repairs, servicing and overhauls on plant products. This involves the use of laptop diagnostic equipment and company software.
* Accurately complete time sheets on a daily basis to be in line with the man hours worked on each job
* The work completed must achieve the quality, Health & Safety and Environmental objectives
* Communication must be regular and thorough to the necessary managers on all problems, in order to enable effective resolution

Workshop Engineers who wish to apply for this role must be team players, with a positive attitude to their work and take pride in the jobs they complete. A lot of enthusiasm and a good attitude are key to being a successful Workshop Engineer within this team.

Workshop Engineers must have excellent mechanical skills, whilst still being able to complete some electrical and electronic work. Workshop Engineers must be able to understand engines, transmissions, hydraulics and pneumatics.

Holders of CSCS and EPIC cards will be looked upon favourably, however, the organisation will process these if the ideal candidate is yet to obtain them.

Workshop Engineers must be computer literate especially in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel, and be numerate and literate also.

Relevant qualifications are all very desirable.
