We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warranty Engineer.
The ideal Warranty Engineer will be:
* HNC or equivalent, ideally, in Mechanical engineering and with 3-4 years’ experience working on complex projects.
* Experience in a customer focused, service environment.
* Proficient computer and SAP related skills.
* Proven ability in project administration and people management skills.
* High level of contractual and commercial awareness.
* Organised, self-motivated and with a high focus on achieving company objectives set.
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
* Flexible team player able to work well with other departments.
* Able to travel, when required, to customer site, possibly overseas.
The role includes but is not exhaustive to:
Two Key Job Functions
• The successful management and “closing-out” of equipment warranty claims
• Support and facilitate root cause analysis of equipment non-conformance and manage the implementation of relevant corrective actions to improve products and service.
* Project management of warranty claims from initial notification from customer through to successful resolution.
* Implementation of corrective actions to prevent a repeat of non-conformance's
* Regular communication with customers, suppliers and internal departments to progress actions in a timely manner
* Working to tight schedule, expedite and provide new component parts, materials and services from internal departments and suppliers to resolve non-conformance's.
* Prepare “work-scope” plans to ensure both in-house and site corrective action
* Work within budgets and KPI guidelines
