On a daily basis, the successful Skilled CNC multi Axis Miller / Turner will be carrying out tasks which include:

* Manufacturing Compressor parts to Engineering Drawings and Specifications, usually in batch sizes of 1 to 6 off.

* Adhering to all relevant instructions contained within Work Standard Instructions (WSI’s) in the manufacture of Compressor parts.

* Conforming to all aspects of the company's Quality Management system including the fulfilment of all relevant procedures etc including all Standard Practise Instructions (SPI’s)

* Delivering quality components in a timely manner whilst contributing to efficient and effective manufacturing principles.

* Contributing and complying with accurate collation of Shop Floor Documentation information including data contained within the Shop Floor Documentation Collection system (SFDC).

* Providing training support for apprentices and work colleagues.

* Interacting and responding to all aspects of Lean Manufacture supporting cost reduction, efficiency, delivery and Quality improvements.

* Ensuring adherence to health and safety standards in compliance with company policy to ensure safe working environment.

Ideal Skilled CNC Mulit Axis Miller / Turners will:

* Be able to edit in Siemens 840. Any programming skills and advantage.
* Be able to interpret and work to Engineering drawings and tolerances.
* Have the ability to undertake a diverse range of work on a daily basis.
* Have Lifting and Slinging certification.
* Be experienced in multi disciplined CNC machining – Turning, milling, boring.
* Have a general Environmental Health and Safety awareness.
* Have previous experience of Precision Manufacturing

This is a permanent position for the successful Skilled CNC Multi-Axis Miller / Turner Operator, with a salary dependant upon experience.

The role requires the successful Skilled CNC Multi Axis Miller / Turner Operator to work 37 hours per week.
