Our client has been established for over 20 years and due to expansion they are now looking for a temporary production manager to aid in the implementation of new technologies in order to stand up against their competitors .They Specialise  in the production of long life jiuces including dairy products and have several outlets throughout Saudi Arabia 

Reporting to the Vice President but working with all production staff you will be responsible for the upgrading of the Production activity. (Vast experience will be required within the production of fresh and long life juices). You will be able plan and develop new processes to ensure more efficiency to both the Engineering function and logistics. Working closely with the Engineering Supervisor, you will be responsible for both the development of existing concepts and the creation of new concepts to suit the Saudi Arabia market.

 Daily Role:

Ensure safety and environmental rules and regulations during operating shifts.

Deploy & communicate goals, objectives and performance measurements related to area of responsibility.

Supervise subordinate supervisors and technical and production employees, including training, performance management and daily work assignments. Includes staff and self development, as well as coaching, counseling on performance feedback, up to initiating and assisting with corrective action.

Prepare reports and maintain records and documentation according to guidelines in a timely and accurate manner.

Participate in cross-functional teams, such as production meetings and safety committee.

Prioritise production schedules.

Responsible to determine causes of delays in shift operations and takes appropriate action to meet shipping schedules.

Report promptly to department managers and production planning department when delays occur, estimates length of delay and when operations will be resumed.

Coordinate with maintenance and engineering departments for required repair work during shift.

Maintain thorough knowledge of processes and equipment, industry technological developments and best practices.

Participate in and/or lead all supervisory training.

Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.

Perform other duties as necessary.

 The successful candidate will have an engineering /production background with a proven track record in Production / Operations Management within the manufacturing sector with emphasis on fresh and long life juices. Understanding of modern manufacturing principles and evidence of conceptualising and implementing improvement activity is a key requirement. You will require excellent people management skills and the ability to adopt a range of management styles and approaches to get the best out of each individual on site. Commercial awareness with evidence of direct customer interaction and the ability to communicate at all levels.
