Electrical Field based Service engineers / technicians lifting hoists and overhead cranes 

We are seeking a home-based electrical overhead hoist crane service technician to cover the Aberdeen area. You will be working for a global manufacture of cranes that pride themselves on being at the forefront of quality and engineering. All service technicians are trained at the head office and are expected to be professional at all times.

The ideal candidate should be qualified in Electrical engineering to ONC or higher

The overhead crane engineer will have experience of working on Cranes or materials handling equipment.

The successful electrical field based maintenance engineer will be able to fault find to root cause

Duties will include:

As the successful overhead crane engineer you will carrying out planned maintenance, repair, installation and commissioning of the company’s products on customer sites.

The ideal overhead crane engineer will be able to maintain Accurate and descriptive problem reports.

Electrical fault finding and diagnosis of all electrical aspects over the hoists and motors

Typical duties will be electrical maintenance of hoists, relays, contactors, limit switches, variable speed motors etc.

The successful electrical maintenance engineer will be able to work alongside client engineers and complete work in a timely and professional manner.

Candidates will be self-motivated and committed to providing excellent customer service. Computer skills would be an advantage as a company laptop will be provided.
