We are currently recruiting for a number of manufacturing engineers in the Guildford area. Preferably, we are looking for a mechanically biased manufacturing engineer and an electrically biased manufacturing engineer.

Ideally, Manufacturing Engineers who wish to apply for this role will have / be:

• Automotive Engineering / relevant degree or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years experience in application of manufacturing engineering.
• Or HND qualification or equivalent with a min of 5 years relevant experience.
• Time served, hands on knowledge is a key factor – must be able to hit the ground running. Therefore cannot be just a theory man - must be able to do!
• Knowledge of Solid Edge is a real benefit, but not essential
• Understanding of stage build concepts & facility / cell layouts a benefit.
• Must be able to read Bill of Materials (BOM’s) and update them.
• Time study and good observational study experience a real need.
• Must be fully conversant with Microsoft packages

Daily Tasks and Responsibilities of both Manufacturing Engineer role include:

• Managing engineering change through to manufacturing
• Ensuring BOM’s are both updated and accurate.
• Developing, documenting & implementing manufacturing processes.
• Conducting observations & time studies.
• Coordinating proof builds and documenting outcomes inc. cell layouts.
• Ensuring all processes are ISO & H&S compliant.
• This is a process orientated role
• Provide regular reports to the board all programs and strategies
