Our client based at Heathrow is looking for a HGV fitter to be based at Heathrow Airport.
We require someone with a HGV licence with a minimum of class 2 classification, as a majority of the work involved will be on HGVs with a small amount of work on buses also required.
The ideal HGV fitter will be carrying out fault diagnosis, repair and maintenance to the vehicles, being required to carrying out breakdown recoveries both landside and airside. It would also be the role of the HGV fitter to prepare the vehicles for MOT testing.
Criminal record checks must be carried out due to the nature of the work and a full five year work history must be provided.
The work is permanent nights 10pm to 7am working 6 days on 3 days off.
Salary is £34,000 per annum
Averaging 42 hours a week.
