We are currently recruiting for an experienced Field Service Engineer who has experience in Industrial Mining equipment. The successful Field Service Engineer will be part of a team who are working for an organisation who are a global leader in the development, manufacture, distribution and service of underground mining machinery for the extraction of coal and other bedded materials.
The role of Field Service Engineer encompasses a variety of roles including but not limited to:
* Servicing, maintenance & repair of all mining plant equipment (most often underground) at customer locations (mines)
* Liaising with technical staff to detail problems and identify potential resolutions.
* Complete works order documentation.
* Identify parts requiring repair / replacement.
The successful Field Service Engineers will be:
* Electrically biased with mechanical knowledge preferred.
* Class 1 / 2 qualifications (Mining) or engineering level.
* UNDERGROUND EXPERIENCE IS IMPERATIF
* Good attitude, communications skills and flexibility are paramount.
This is a permanent role, based in the South of Wales. The successful Field Service Engineer will receive a company car in order to be able to travel to the various, required locations.
