We have an urgent requirement Facilities Manager for our manufacturing site in Guildford

The site is an engineering facility that produces mechanical assembles for the Automotive Sector. This role would require a facilities manager that is up to date with workplace health and safety legislation and the practice implantation of health and safety procedures including audits. This role would involve managing all site services such as power management, waste, security, maintenance from an asset  list, recycling etc. There is already a Facilities manager in place who is set to retire thus there will be a hand over period.

Facilities manager list of duties
• Relevant Facilities Management (FM) qualification (HNC / Degree).
• Relevant H&S qualification & knowledge of H&S legislation & implementation.
• Min 5years FM experience ideally in a similar working environment.
• Extensive knowledge of site services.
• Logical thinker & problem solver with a ‘can do’ & attention to detail approach.
• Excellent IT, communication & presentation skills & able to represent ADL at all levels internally & externally.
• This is a manufacturing / operational facilities management role with additional H&S responsibilities – a key role.
• The key activities will involve the planning and execution of facility, equipment & machinery planned maintenance & service activities - To achieve a safe & reliable operational facility whilst optimizing facility availability & performance.
• The role will also involve the direction & planning of essential central services such as security, mail, maintenance, archiving, cleaning, catering, waste disposal and recycling.
• Also being responsible for site energy performance & management.
