We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, who will ideally have experience in the Food, Plastics or Packaging environment.

The successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer will have completed an apprenticeship in electrics, but must also be prepared to get their hands dirty with some mechanical work also, however, this mechanical work will be in the minority of the work the Electrical Maintenance Engineer carries out.

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for a number of machines, including slitters, laminators and printers, and have experience with AC Inverters and DC Regulators.

The environment is very fast-paced and will sometimes involve maintenance work in a chilled, cooler environment.

Knowledge of PLCs would be an advantage for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer, as would pneumatic and hydraulic knowledge.

Ideal Electrical Maintenance Engineers MUST be able to read electrical schematics.

The successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be working in a team of around 4-5 people, and working the shift pattern of 4 on, 4 off, working days and nights, 6a.m - 6p.m and 6p.m - 6a.m.
