We are currently recruiting for a Draughtsperson who must have:

* HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
* Previous design experience on high accuracy medium mechanical equipment
* Ability to prepare layout, general arrangement and design drawings
* CAD experience and ability

The successful Draughtsperson will be required to:

* Generation and control of engineering drawings, assemblies and bills of materials
* Generation or modification to engineering drawings and bills of material
* Checking of new or modified engineering drawings and bills of material
* Generation or modification to purchase requisitions
* Checking of new or modified purchase requisitions
* Adapt designs to suit job specific requirements where appropriate
* Providing technical support to the shop floor regarding interpretation of drawings or assemblies
* Review of sub-vendor drawings for bought in parts
* Interact and respond to all aspects of Lean Manufacture supporting cost reduction, efficiency, delivery and Quality improvements.
* Ensuring that, at all times, all current health and safety rules are rigidly adhered to both by the individual and those around him/her. Ensuring that appropriate PPE is worn when in the shop floor or other workshop environment.
