We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Projects Team Leader to join our clients successful and expanding team in the Renfrew area of Scotland.

The successful Commercial Projects Team Leader must have:

* Educated to HNC Level or equivalent in a relevant mechanical or electrical discipline
* Previous experience of successfully project managing high value contracts.
* Demonstrate an understanding of mechanical and electrical package build.
* Confidence and experience to pro-actively solve problems, think laterally and identify corrective actions
* Leadership, communication, negotiating, influencing and inter-personal skills, with the drive and commitment to achieve project objectives
* Good Time Management Skills
* Able to undertake UK and overseas travel for client meetings

Daily Tasks and Responsibilities for the successful Commercial Projects Team Leader include:

* Run weekly contract review meetings to ensure projects are on time and on budget and pro-actively try to improve on time and budget targets.
* Act as a single point of contact for client to ensure the management of company/client relationship.
* Attend meetings with client to ensure compliance with the project requirements
* Communicate the clients technical and commercial requirements to all departments contributing to the projects successful execution.
* Organise and facilitate reviews with necessary departments to ensure compliance with clients specifications.
* Co-ordinate the release of technical documentation to and from the client and provide prompt resolution of any identified issues.
* Specify and procure major, technically compliant, cost effective items via external sub-vendors and maintain their deliveries in line with the project schedule.
* Maintain up-to-date project costs and status, and provide periodic reports to both management and the client.
* Interpret and implement contract terms & conditions, performance bonds and invoicing to ensure compliance.
* Co-ordinate invoicing and client payments to manage cash flow for all projects
* Resolve issues arising from deviations to original contractual requirements and the control of cost amendments for such deviations.
* Record and report contract variation costs relating to material and time.
* Interact and respond to all aspects of Lean Manufacture supporting cost reduction, efficiency, delivery and Quality improvements.
