We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner / Setter.

Ideal CNC Turner / Setter's must be either Apprentice trained or equivalent, ideally, NVQ Level 3 and must be able to set and operate a variety of CNC lathes.

Good knowledge of Fanuc operating system and ideally some knowledge of Heidenhain would be advantageous.

Ideally, CNC Turner / Setter's will have experience in 3-axis, bar-feed machining centres (lathes) and experienced in producing precision components as well as experienced in machining cast components.

Candidates must be able to work in a variety of materials – mainly Steel, Aluminium and cast iron.

Daily Tasks and Responsibilities include:

* Set and operate a variety of CNC lathes in the production of components primarily for machinery for the glass container handling industry.
* Edit Fanuc operating system as required.
* Produce components in batches up to 100.
* Check own work.

This is a permanent position for the successful CNC Turner / Setter.
