We are currently recruiting for a CNC Operator who is time-served and has obtained an Apprenticeship in Milling or Turning.

Experience of programming, setting and operating CNC horizontal/vertical machining centre is required from the ideal CNC Operator and knowledge of Fanuc or Mazak control systems is advantageous.

Ideally, CNC Operators for this role will have experience of producing components for Oil & Gas and Marine sector and be experienced in machining a variety of materials – mainly steel, stainless steel and aluminium but some exotics such as Inconel and used to producing one-offs and small batches.

CNC Operators will be required to programme, set and operate CNC horizontal and vertical machining centres to produce a variety of components in a variety of materials from Steel, Aluminium and Stainless Steel through to exotics such as inconel.

Components will generally be one-offs or batches of 2 or 3 units.
Should be able to check own work.
CNC Operators also need to ensure company Health & Safety standards are met.
